The theme you choose for your website design is crucial. If it’s easy to navigate, it’ll make potential clients stick around to see what you can do for them.
If it’s clunky, slow, and difficult to navigate, visitors will run a mile and look for a coaching website that’s a pleasure to browse.
Bummer!
With that in mind, I’m going to show you the WordPress themes I recommend that’ll make your coaching website look pretty darn awesome.

What is a WordPress theme?
A WordPress theme is the overall design of your website. Think of it like a human body. WordPress is the skeleton. The WordPress theme is the muscle and skin — pretty much what makes up the site’s look, design, and feel.

The WP themes to use on your coaching website.
I could suggest a dozen WordPress themes, but when it comes down to it, I’d rather keep it simple by recommending just two, Astra and Hello Elementor.
They’re both brilliant options with different benefits:
1. Astra
Astra is a gorgeous WordPress theme, ideal for coaches because it’s fully customizable and is great for blogging and podcasting.
It uses less than 50 KB on the front end, so it is lightweight and offers super-fast loading speeds. And Astra also comes with Schema.org code and is Native AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) ready, so your website will load on a smartphone or tablet in no time.
You can use the Astra Starter Templates plugin, which comes in handy if you’re designing the website yourself. And it works seamlessly with multiple page builders too, including:
- Elementor
- Divi
- Beaver Builder
- SiteOrigin
2. Hello Elementor
The Hello Elementor Theme is a great out-of-the-box theme that works perfectly with the Elementor page builder (as you’d expect). It’s one of the fastest WordPress themes on the market too, so you’ll never lose potential clients due to slow webpage loading speeds.
Hello is incredibly flexible, so you can create beautiful, eye-catching web pages that look like a professional has designed them (even if you’re not). It also allows you to create super-fast, responsive landing pages. So, if you want to drive traffic to your site with targeted pages, you won’t find a better theme to do it.
And if that wasn’t enough, it’s completely FREE.

Don’t make this mistake
One of the WordPress Themes I‘m regularly asked about is JupiterX. It used to be a highly promoted theme, so it’s a theme most current coaches are aware of.
However, these days, I’d advise you to steer well clear.
Compared to Astra, Hello Elementor, and a dozen other WordPress themes, it’s heavy, hard to edit, and it’ll slow your website down — a no-no in this day and age.
If you’re using JupiterX and can relate to the above, it might be time to switch to a faster, more reliable WordPress theme.
